The second round of upgrading works at the municipal swimming pool of Glyfada, at the Municipal Sports Center has completed "Makis Liougos" to obtain - for the first time - health license and authorization and be safe and functional for all those who make use of its facilities.
In the first round, with initiative and after systematic efforts of the municipality, emergency exits were created, installed fire detection and fire alarm systems, fire resistant doors and entered the boiler room. Also started the energy upgrade of the pool, which will soon only works with gas and heat pumps with a double benefit: And saving costs and environmental protection.
